Ms Vivianne Kong

Clinical Psychologist - MAHPC(CP)00890

I am a Clinical Psychologist providing psychotherapy, psychological assessment, and mental health support to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.

I completed my Master of Clinical Psychology with Distinction and gained clinical experience across hospitals, community mental health centres, NGO, educational, and private practice settings. I have supported individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, emotional regulation difficulties, neurodevelopmental conditions, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Prior to and alongside my clinical training, I accumulated over 10 years of experience working with children and adolescents in educational and behavioural support settings, which continues to inform my work with young people and their families.

I adopt a collaborative, client-centred, and strengths-based approach to therapy. My work is informed by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), while remaining flexible to each individual's unique needs, values, and goals.

Outside of clinical practice, I am passionate about mental health advocacy, psychoeducation, and community outreach. I enjoy participating in mental health talks, workshops, screenings, and awareness programmes that promote wellbeing and reduce stigma.
